ANNUAL CONFERENCES

DILLEHUNT MEMORIAL LECTURESHIP This annual lecture series is named after Richard Dillehunt, M.D. who was instrumental in the establishment of Shriners Children’s Portland and served as the first chief of staff. This series recognizes his legacy which inspired many orthopaedists with his devotion to helping children. Each spring, the Dillehunt Lecture features an international pediatric orthopedic surgeon as speaker. BEATTIE LECTURE SERIES Each fall, the Beattie Lecture takes place at the Portland Shriners hospital. Every year, the speaker presents on topics of interest in pediatric orthopedics, and current trainees present interesting surgical cases for discussion. PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS CONFERENCE Shriners Children’s Portland staff provide an annual educational opportunity for primary care providers on the topic of pediatric orthopedics. ̶
