Best Children's Hospitals In the most recent U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals survey, Shriners Hospitals for Children received these rankings: Shriners Hospitals for Children — Erie (together with UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh) is ranked 45th in pediatric orthopaedics. Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California is ranked eighth in pediatric orthopaedics, and 20th in pediatric urology. Both awards are shared with UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Hospital — Washington University) is ranked 12th in pediatric orthopaedics. The Best Children’s Hospitals rankings highlight U.S. News & World Report’s top 50 U.S. pediatric facilities in 10 specialties. Rankings are based on a combination of clinical data and the reputations of pediatric specialists.
