EXPANDING OUR PARTNERSHIPS Our Shriners Hospitals/GIT partnership is also expanding to encompass the fields of precision medicine and big data analysis and interpretation. The new initiative creates pilot research projects and tools that align with the needs and aims of the Shriners Hospitals network of clinicians in order to enable state-of-the-art clinical research and facilitate clinical practice. The overall goal remains to improve the lives of children treated at our health care system.

The Shriners Hospitals health care system and Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) affiliation agreement in support of clinical research programs between our physicians, surgeons and GIT engineers continues to advance.
