SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN IS MAKING CHANGES FOR ITS SECOND CENTURY At the moment, we continue to live and work within the threat and of vaccines, there is renewed hope, and even confidence, that we will return to some semblance of normal later this year. Throughout this difficult time, the entire staff has never wavered from our mission, and has continued to focus on our patients, always putting them first. Putting our patients and families first means meeting their expectations, as well as adapting to the ever-changing health care industry. As we look forward to a new century of caring for kids, the world is a far different place than it was in 1922, when we opened our first hospital. And Shriners Hospitals for Children is equally different. We have become leaders in care, research and medical education. We are known for many things: innovation, expertise, compassion and generosity. And we are known restrictions of the pandemic. With the increasing availability

for being determined to improve the life of each child who comes to us, no matter the complexity of the child’s condition. These qualities are part of what makes the Shriners organizations respected throughout the world. AN UPDATED BRAND This new chapter also includes new branding, which clearly and succinctly states who we are: “Shriners Children’s.”

With this concise phrase, we honor the vision of the members of the Shriners fraternity who founded our unique and compassionate health care system nearly 100 years ago, and we name the single focus of our work: Children.
