Ladies' Groups The ladies’ organizations, including Daughters of the Nile, Ladies’ Oriental Shrine of North America, and Shrine Guilds of America Inc., are a very special part of the Shriners Hospitals for Children family. The women of these organizations contribute millions of dollars and countless volunteer hours to Shriners Hospitals. They also help Shriners Hospitals for Children provide the family-centered care the system is known for, by donating much-needed items such as clothing, quilts, books, toys

and games. Members of the Shrine Guilds of America Inc. focus their efforts on providing education to children during their stay at Shriners Hospitals for Children.

In April 2020, Daughters of the Nile Supreme Queen Dale Obernolte passed away. All of the ladies’ organizations as well as Shriners International grieve her loss and are grateful for her service and leadership over the years. Supreme Queen Dale led by example, and her signature statement, “Remember Leave a Little SPARKLE Wherever You Go!” will continue to inspire all who follow in her path.
